Guard.

Setting up one because I don't want to get trodden on so easily. Not anymore and hopefully not ever. Really thankful with what SMU has offered me, such a blessing in disguise that NUS rejected me. Maybe I am indeed more suited for SMU after all. I am going to make the best out of this. Put in all my effort to perform well.

But of course in uni, I really have to guard myself. I must be careful. I made a few mistakes already. I am not going to do it again. I don't want to always be the people-pleasing person. I want to be assertive as well. And stand up for myself. It will begin when my school term starts. The effort to protect myself better.
