A thought

The meeting made me realise, after such a terribly long time, that if nothing had changed, it could have lasted, but I left it all behind for something better.

I don't regret making that decision; it just tears me apart knowing that I gave everything up so selfishly when things could have still worked out. I swayed and moved on to things I thought suited me better. I thought it would be better to be honest than to lie to you anymore. I feel so horrible thinking back, and I hope there will be true happiness for both of us somewhere out there. I hope you find yours soon, like I did mine..
