I think I am depressed.
I have no mood to study at all after losing my iPhone. It's been 6 long days and I am killing myself over not being able to get over it.
I did like it a lot and I only had it for a pathetic one month plus.
I know the police will not do anything. I know I will never get my phone back. I know the thief will probably never get caught. Then why am I still hoping that I will get it back?
I pretend that I am okay, to all except 1 person.
I am so tempted to kick up a tantrum, beg my parents to buy me a new one, but that's just disgustingly spoilt and I will never do that. I don't want to cause them anymore trouble. I already lost a thousand dollars worth of a phone. I pretend I like my new phone, happily thank them for it, and crawl elsewhere to lament and cry. I can't tell anyone anything because everyone will think, well it's just a phone get over it. And that makes me feel even more terrible because I don't want to feel this way either, I can't help it. I don't know why I still can't get over it. I want my iPhone back so badly.
I only had it for less than two months. That really breaks my heart. It was my birthday present from my father...
I want to save up to buy a new one but it's so expensive without contract.
I really think I am depressed. I can't stop thinking about it. I spin up unreal scenarios in my head, setting up booby traps to catch the asshole, or announcing over the PA system in Tampines for the woman who witnessed the crime and finding her successfully and using her description to catch the guy...
My new phone can't hold a candle to my iPhone.. I really liked it a lot.
I hope I get over this soon but somehow I have a bad feeling I'm really sinking into depression. Secret depression. Is there such a thing? Inability to focus on my work, plastering false smiles on my face, trying to enjoy as much as I can with everyone around me, but there is still the strangling, sinking feeling latched onto my heart
