I should never go near books anymore.

They suck me in like some all-mighty-powerful vacuum and cause me to abandon ALL MY WORK.

Finally finished reading Inkdeath, the 3rd book in the Inkheart trilogy. The books are all really, really good with an amazing storyline that twists so smoothly and unexpectedly, and I guess it's supposed to be a fantasy/adventure read for younger children (WHOOPS) but Inkdeath was much more... bloody and deep and mature, BUT THE ENDING DISAPPOINTED ME AGRHH!HAGSHGSAAHGSAHSAASAAZZXZX

Despite the... Unsatisfactory ending, I loved those books anyway, the plotline was so captivating and real and it's one of those books where you wish you were inside trailing after the characters and living in their world, or even being one of those characters. And one of those books where you get attached to the characters and like them so much you cry when they die and you get angry when the girl inside falls in love with some other random shithead and the character disappears and poofs nowhere.

Although it's not those kinda deep, gripping books with poignant storylines like the Kite Runner and etcetera, I still felt so free and floaty and happy reading the Inkheart books (EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE FOR 12+ HAHAHAHAA but the English used is really not that bad and the storytelling is more preferable for the younger ages I admit, but I adore lovely adventure/fantasy stuff, like Harry Potter and whatnot 8D)

Stupid book. I read it obsessively for the past 4 days or so, and it disappoints me with an ending I didn't expect/want. It was a great ending, great plot, but the tiny, tiny part about the girl randomly falling in love with random dude in the FREAKING THIRD BOOK and chases away the other guy who SHE HAD LOVED FOR SUCH A LONG TIME IN THE FIRST TWO BOOKS is ridiculous and sad and gross and ruins the whole feeling.

Only starting officially on my Bio now. HAH

I think I need to ask my parents to switch off the Internet from Monday onwards, so I can officially ban myself for the next 3-4 months from:

1) MSN-ing.
2) Surfing the net which is as addictive as all those stupid books.
3) Playing games.
4) Facebooking (DAMN YOU QUIZZES, SO INTRIGUING and ATTRACTIVE that I JUST HAVE to do about 100+ of you)
5) BLOGGING.

The only books I will read from Monday onwards are Biology and Chem textbooks, and Whale Rider and Midsummer Night's Dream, and and all those Lit textbooks and Chinese textbooks and damn I want to read storybooks too but I can't because I'll just end up neglecting my rotting piles of work.

I've fully decided on quitting Jap. Not because I hate it, but I really have no time for it and my parents/older sister encourage it because I won't even be using it in my O's since I don't even have the heart to study properly for it anymore (and fail every test that passes through pathetically screwed Jap-recessed brain) and so what's the point of wasting time on a subject I wouldn't even use in my L1R5 (since I can't do well in it and the most I could ever scrape in O's is probably a B4 or so, if I attempt to study) when I can use the precious time to study for subjects that I must definitely use in my O's?

Like brushing up on my Literature (which isn't good, at all) and Egeog and Social Studies and Chemistry and HIGHER CHINESE - I HAVE TO PASS IT THIS TIME.

I'll really miss all the crappy happy times in Jap with Drii and all the other Stnicks people, and I'll definitely miss all of them, all the laughter and the craziness and Brenda's loud answering to questions (AHHAAHAHA) , but sigh, I think I really have to do this or I won't be able to get into a decent JC. Jap really takes up so much time, and I can't even do well... So there's really no point...

Damn, I KNEW IT. I knew once I started blogging I wouldn't be able to stop and 20 minutes has flown past without me noticing and my Bio remains untouched.

I keep talking about what we'll do after O's - let's go out, let's play Maple and Audition together and make new characters, let's have sleepovers

but now I really have to drill a sense of urgency into myself. I don't have it. I don't know why.

I think it's because of all those damned books.

Oh another thing to ban myself from.

6) Story books.

(After O's, I'll delve ravenously into more once again?

Oh there I go. After O's.)
