Everyday is like a new battle.

A desperate struggle to finish overdue homework, pull through the day without getting scolded or caught for late homework, sneaking homework in class, and trying to actually complete tests on time.

I'm fighting, every single day, to finish what I need to do.

A war against time.


Time never succumbs, you see.

It's always ticking away, the seconds speeding up, faster and quicker, dropping into the past, stretching the battle for as far, and as long, as possible.

Choir is something like that; when we manage claw our way to the top, brush our fingertips just inches away from our goal - we lose our grip and fall as the seconds collapse on us in torrents, washing away our efforts, undoing what we've done.

Time is crushing us now, and thus, we're squeezing every bit of time we can spare for preparation to overcome it.


Can't battle time anyway, 'cause it's always moving. Its only job is to keep the world spinning, and humans need to stop for rest, stop to eat, stop to drink, stop to do homework, stop to study, stop to cry, stop to feel.
