TO THE ZOO FOR 3 BUCKS

Going to the zoo in your school uniform actually cuts the entrance free from $17 to $9. And a really nice lady had a Zoo card which allowed her to take 2 more people into the zoo for free, so she approached us with her boyfriend and said she'll go in with us SO 2 OF US DIDN'T NEED TO PAYYYY. We split the price for one person among the three of us (which is $9) so we each paid $3 FOR THE ENTRANCE FEE!

We got discounted for our movie in the evening too.

Really, really lucky.

Yesterday was one of the funnest days IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! We DID SO MANY FUN THINGS AND ATE SO MUCH GOOD FOOD! More details later, this post will be edited after I've managed to grab all the pictures from Abs and Muscles. Gahhhh, Jasmine was supposed to join us too but she only ate breakfast with us T_T

AFTER LIT PAPER... ON 7/10/2008 -thanks much, abii & shinny dear for photos-

We were sitting around waiting idly for people (Garwai for Peiling and Jasmine, Abs and I for Shinny) and because we wanted to use Abs' camera SHE SPECIALLY BROUGHT FOR THE DAY, we decided to take PICTURES ~


Garwai left with Peiling after that, and so Abs, Shinny, Jasmine and I hopped to Macs to have our scrumptious End of EOYs BREAKFAST! Shinny squeezed hash browns for fun, and Jasmine and Abs gayly created faces with margarine.

JASMINE WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO THE ZOO WITH US AT FIRST >:( But she wasn't allowed to... so we commemorated the last of the four of us together, in the toilet.

We took the bus to Amkhub together, parted with Jasmine (nooo) and waited for bus 138, entertaining ourselves by admiring our feet. 8D I HAD TO STRETCH MY LEGS LIKE MADDDD just to reach the opposite silver bar while the others rested their shoes comfortably.


FINALLY OUR LOVELY BUS CAME, and the bus ride was fairly long. We felt extremely exhausted because the lazy bumping movement of the bus made us sleep...~

When we walked in, we took our first picture at the zoo! YES, MOMENTOUS EVENT, HOHO, abii asked a china dude to help us take it. 8D

Some random zoo photographers were taking pictures for everyone so after we got in FOR 3 BUCKS EACH (HE HE HE we're so lucky to have bumped into that nice nice lady!) we were plonked down on a bench and did RETARDED POSES. The photos weren't free though, so we didn't go check them out ~

We went to the toilet FIRST.

The toilet made us feel so tropical.


We asked a zookeeper who had also been using the toilet to take picture of us in the greeeeny foresty place. It's like an OUTDOOR TOILET. O:

After the toilet, we caught sight of our first animal (which was an amazingly tiny and adorable monkey);


Zookeeper photographers offered to help us take photo, so h'okaaay
"Hey, your fringe is too long, cannot see your eyes."

We trooped in happily into the zoo, and WERE SHOCKED BY THE HUGE FURRY BLACK LUMP plopped on the signboard. His white hair around his face looked like Elvis Presley's hair and he kept refusing to look at the camera. Abii had to wait for JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT to take the shot..

We ran away after that and stumbled upon the Proboscis Monkeys ~ Females have smaller noses than the males, who have LONG FAT DROOPY ONES. The one below's a female.


THE OTTERS WERE next. They're so sleek and beautiful and slender~ (insert; OMFG I WAS GOING TO THE TOILET WHEN A LIZARD WHACKED MY SHOULDER. IT WAS FAT AND HEAVY AND MY SHOULDER HURTS NOW. AND IT SCRAMBLED AWAY URGHHHHHHHHHHH I FEEL DISGUSTED)


A scary pink plant scared the hell out of me.

"OMG WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!" I yell. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" screams Abii, running away from the plant and clutching onto me. She turns around, scrutinizes it and gives me a ludicrous "omg i thought it was something huge and scary and you made me scream over a PINK PLANT" look.

It was enormous, much bigger than the ones I have at home. AND PINK. (Huaichyn i know you're swooning) THE NORMAL ONES ARE REEEEDDDDD, I NEVER SAW A LONG, DANGLING PINK ONE BEFORE ;_;

Do you find this disgusting? I was irked by it, somehow. >_>

We saw many tiny minuscule orange spiders who spun perfect, immaculate tiny webs, but didn't manage to capture it on camera, somehow, no matter how much we tried. Too thin and tiny >_> SO WE WENT TO SEE ERM, THE TIGERS.

They - they awe me... O___O

After looking at the white tigers, we changed out of our school uniform cause it was getting suffocatingly hot. THEN WE SAW THE PELICANS ~ There were 2, and one of them hated me. At first we didn't know if it was alive, and when it moved Abii shrieked. It became extremely agitated when I stood in front of it and STABBED THE GLASS with its beak the glass murderously.

The one below tried to kill me through the glass. (is traumatized by event)

Harmless creatures like penguins and manatees calmed me down after the pelican attempted to peck me through the glass. I think manatees are very beautiful. They swim in such a... graceful manner. Up down, rippling their bodies so elegantly. Even though their faces are kinda squished... :3 LIKE THIS FACE.

We sat atop the sealion statues in bliss~
"OMG THERE'S A BOAT ON THE HORIZON! SO BEAUTIFUL~ OMG OMG~" gushes Abii, snap goes her camera.

OH YES, then we watched this show called "SAVE THE RAINFOREST" or something like that. Some new show in the zoo. And Abii literally swooned over the half-naked tribal dancing guys. She adored the one with the most abs.


He's the 2-feathered one (ogle, abii, ogle!) And we were highly amused by the one wearing the monkey suit XD

We went to this elephant hut thing where they taught us about elephants through a video on the tv~ and we went mad there!



Err. Abii's photo was taken by me while I tried really hard not to shake with laughter, but I evidently failed judging by the horrible aim (look at the lack of the elephant's legs). I'm sorry!

ZOMG THEN WE SAW THE BABOONS! We were so enlightened by them. Sat there after Abii had the misfortune to witness something appalling, and talked for damn long about the world...

We were so angry we couldn't take a proper jump shot that we CHEATED by using Shinny's slow-mo video thing on her phone camera so she could screenshot the shots when we were in the air After gruelling hours of hard work, we succeeded and became ultimate pros.

Then she brought up her arm to her head, trying to do an act-cool-pose after landing on the ground.

So we saw a few more animals and decided that the rest of the animals were too far away (we saw most of the animals alreaddyyy anyway) so we went into the ZOO SHOP at the end ~ where everything was ridiculously expensive and we defied the shopkeeper by taking pics in the UV light where we glowed. Doesn't this picture look like Abii's trying to zilian, but fails brilliantly?

Stuffed ourselves with mouth-watering Ben & Jerry's, then we took bus 9... something something to ChoaChuKang and caught Eagle Eye. It's a show packed full of action and quite heart-stopping at times. It's quite good entertainment if you like ACTION, but I thought the movie had no space for anything else... But it was still very fun, esp with Abs and Muscles! ANYWAY, we went to eat NEW YORK NEW YORK AND SPLURGED!

After dinner we watched the show, and after the show we were all hyperventilating and going crazy because our heart stopped 9217392271 times. And I needed to pee desperately so we went to the TOILET and went mad there too.


End. And we spent around 30 bucks each for the whole day. (saved lots of money)

Don't worry, this is one of the few times I actually do pic spams. My mounds of text will be back in no time. (Well we took a hell lotta pictures 'cause there was a camera and we were so high and crazy after EOYs!)

Oh, more about Baybay! I wanted to post pics but I think this post is too full of crap uh... yeah to keep a long story short, what she did at my house was ransack my room and re-pack all my books and we tried watching anime and laughed like shit and were really damn gay. XD Ate peanuts and KFC and nuggets yeahhhh baby!

"I'm tired tired tired,"I grumble (after giving up on helping baybay repack my stuff cause I never repack my stuff)
