CIP yesterday (was rather fun, but sad) , returned home to mug for Jap test and stayed up to do ELlit till I got chased to sleep =/

Jap class was amusing today.

"あわたた (awatata)..." mused Tan aloud, thinking desperately of how to explain the word to the bemused class. "Errr..."

"AH! For example, when your train hasn't come yet and you're about to be late for a concert or something, you'll be feeling very... errr... Ahhhh!" He demonstrated hopping up and down on the spot, flapping his arms vigorously. "I'm gonna be late! I'm gonna be late! What's that word to... explain that..."

He stopped waving about and thought long and hard, but no word came.

"Just in time?" someone chirped from the back.

"Just in time ではありません！(dewaarimasen)" he said disappointedly, retreating slightly in despair.

"Scared? In a hurry?"

"Nooo, it's not, no, no," Tan repeated frustratedly.

"Panicky? Is it panicky?" I muttered to Wan Xin.

"Pani-kee... No, SLIGHTLY different from panicky... errr...." Tan furrowed his eyebrows for a moment before his face lit up. "AH!"

He began to flap his arms, and said triumphantly, "It's like, in a FLUTTER! In a flutter because the train hadn't come-"

We all stared at him while he continued flapping his arms.

"Err... Isn't it fluster?"

"AH YES SORRY, SORRY! IN A FLUSTER," he corrected himself, extremely embarrassed and looking VERY flustered.

The whole class collapsed into laughter.
