sometimes i doubt the meaning of love.

if love is loving someone regardless of their flaws,
why is it that one's flaws can cut me so deeply when i'm supposed to love them?

I hate them i detest them i want to run away from them. I feel tiny. small. unsure. unconfident. all the bad things in the world zeroing in on me and mocking me and laughing at me. gosh debbie you are soooo noob and lousy and STUPID.

If someone is oblivious to his flaws, and when identified, reassure you that he would change his character for you,
is it possible for that person's character to stay the same for the past 5 months or so, despite you pointing the flaws out and expressing immense sadness over it?

Does it mean that that person's flaw will never go away, and you will stay as sensitive as ever, or even more so, the longer and more frequently you get hurt?



I have really conflicting emotions

Love?

It's a word echoing empty promises, right now.
