HELLO! I forgot to post about the Old Folks' Home. hah.
lukas podolski is UGLY, okay! (go to Belinda's blog to see the revolting pics of him sucking his fingers)
Okay, so we went there on Tuesday. And there was this sort of mediciney smell clinging to the air. It was kinda scary, so I kept clutching on to everyone.
Firstly, we had to perform for the Old Folks. None of us really got ready, so pai seh! The best performance was by RUOFAN! She played the guzheng really well! Then next was the dance. OMG so ma lu lah. They used "Why Not" by Hilary Duff as the music. It was like so poppish and rockish!
Then they used the Dance Enrichment dance. They danced really well, the four soloists (yan yee, hazel, michelle and grace) but but but! The old folks were all "diao diao diao" and their expressions obviously showed that were extremely bored. They dislike modern dance, all right.
Then we sang "tong hua". We went faster than the music at one part, hahaahhaa. O.o and the old folks still looked really bored. It was so pai seh! There was one really nice and enthu indian lady who was clapping happily. That was the only moral boost, I guess.
Then after that the class had to split up. We went around talking to old folks. It was very pai seh for me because all I could do was SMILE until my jaws ached. I DON'T KNOW ANY DIALECT! I could barely communicate with them.
Everyone was chattering off Cantonese and Hokkien and whatnot while I stood there like a goon. But there were some really nice old ladies! Noone really dared to talk to the guys. O.o Anyways, one of them shooed Hazel and I away. Ho hum.
And then an old guy stole Yan Yee's tea! I don't know what happened, but when I looked around there he was, sipping on her tea through a straw blissfully. With all her saliva too.
Then there was one lady with amputated legs... she suddenly called to Hazel and I, "xiao jie.. xiao jie!" So, we walked over to her. Then she said, in a monotone, "ni ke yi dai wo qu na bian ma?"
Hazel and I glanced at each other and went, "Na2 li?"
"Na4 li..." she said, her voice seeming to drag on the last syllable as she gestured vaguely to the right.
Extremely unsure, I went, "Deng yi xia, wo men qu wen wo men de lao shi..." and we hurried off... omg we so mean lahh... But apparently that poor lady has a mental problem. She always wants to go somewhere else... omg so poor thing...
Then there's this really nice old indian lady colouring pictures by herself! she was really nice and was the only one who could speak english. O.o
Then on the second level there was a woman who was blind in the right eye... All of us felt so xin tong because she was attempting to fix her puzzle but there were MISSING PIECES... Then when we told the nurse the nurse didn't seem to care one bit! : (
Then there was another woman whose wheelchair was tied to a bar. She kept saying "they're not going to bring rice" or something like that... Then she kept asking the others to buy rice for her.. especially Dri.. because Dri was the only nice girl who kept answering to her.. Then she very very FIERCE! She scolded the nurse "chee bai". O.o She also kept asking Dri to untie her from the bar...
Then feeding time. I didn't feed anyone! Everyone was taken up. And i was really scared I would ram food up someone's nose and make them choke. I suck at feeding. O___o ahhhh! Feel so bad not being able to take part in that. I wish they'd speak chinese! I don't know dialects!!!
But it was really heartbreakingish lah. :( The old folks looked so forlorn and lonelyyy...
I have a runny nose and cough! Hopefully can go school tomorrow. AND MRS NATH I AM NOT HANDING UP THE READERS DIGEST THINGY... I lost the form. HHAHAHAHA and i wouldn't win even if i tried, so what's the point! HAHAHAHA okay. I'm nuts. Actually, it all boils down to the fact that I'm LAZY.
And I don't have inspiration for writing nowadays. Heh.
Well, now now, it be PICCY TIME.
This be a pic of.. Guess.

Guess, I say!
It's Josie's flower. The top, at least. Never guessed that, did you?! (:

Here is Abiiman, in my classroom posing with my Howl's Moving Castle DVD. She ransacked my bag and spilled its contents all over my desk. ABIIII!!! stupid girl.

AND THIS BE A NICE CHARCOAL DRAWING... by me. ((enjoys silent applause for my own ego-ness))

Fine. It's not that nice. ((sobs))
Abii again. I'm one for ruining reputations, I told you. Credits to Josie for catching that stupidddd expression! Retardedness aboundies!

And here, as a random sign off, is Josie! WHEEEE

She is obviously looking at _____'s picture. Which she managed to snap of secretly. So naughty. See the expression on her face!? She looks smitten!
Okay, it be lateth. But that's okay. I slept for like 6 hours in the afternoon yesterday, so it doesn't matter. And another 6 hours in the night. I WAS SICK! And I still am. WHOOPS. I forgot to eat my medicine.
