Equality
Does not exist.
Utopia does not exist.
There are always differences. Even in groups of friends.
But that, i can only blame myself. I am not a good enough friend. I am not as valued, because I was so absent, so self conscious, so afraid. I know I cannot blame anyone, but myself.
So, 2012, let me be satisfied with what I already have. Let me be glad that my friends already regard me as friends. Let me be less materialistic and not sadly, discreetly and subconsciously compare presents or cards (my eyes seem to flicker out of control at such times) but rather, cherish the relationships I have and strengthen them.
Let me be content.
