Reminisce
I spent the past half an hour ploughing through two years' worth of blog posts. I miss how I used to write, so happily and carefreely about my wonderful days. Now nothing is wonderful.
There is an air to my writing that feels strangely gripping when I read it. It plunges me back to the old days, allowing all the memories to trickle back, almost tangibly, reminding me of how close I used to be with some people, and how far I am from them now.
I wish I could make things right again. I buried everything. But we were really so close, the countless sleepovers and fun you brought were one of the best things in my life. But things would merely be awkward now, I think it would be too late.
I shall resume decent blogging with photos again, because my posts were quite interesting when I made the effort to write. Then when I am old I can revisit the pages and delve once again into the memories, and feel the nostalgia wash over me in waves. It drills a dull ache, but it is still oddly intriguing to revisit the past. It feels almost addictive to reminisce.
