Today was an eventful but sadly fruitless day. Abii do not fret, we will succeed!!!
I tried on contacts for the first ever time! My lovely mamamama brought me in the morning after the class meeting for our performance... CONTACTS for prom!!! The pains I have to go through...
You have to FORCE YOUR EYELIDS OPEN AND AS THE CONTACT LENS APPROACHES YOUR EYEBALLS, your eyelids will REACT (REFLEX ACTION) instinctively and START BLINKING RAPIDLY. I probably took about 15-20 mins to learn to take them on and off. =X But they actually fall out by themselves by night, much easier to get rid of than when they're wet and soft and fresh. =/
When I went out with Abii afterward, both of us thought we still had our specs so we would randomly lift our hands to the sides of our faces and then realise we had NOTHING TO ADJUST. HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
We actually dressed up properly today, felt really weird and awkward and attempted to avoid all signs of other StNicks girls lest they spot us in our retarded glory. I was desperately hoping the contact lens would make me unrecognizable but to no avail... We still crashed into a few and smiled weakly before scurrying away. Ah, lesson learnt - ORCHARD IS TOO HOT A SPOT TO STAY HIDDEN WITHIN
Actually my black dress isn't that bad, I do like its cutting~ No time to search for a new one anyway...
Oh well, I really hope we get our pretty shoes soon! And I want to find a necklace ~
Ahem.
My sister's birthday party was today too, so I HAD TO RUSH HOME for steamboat dinner. Her friends are DAMN NOISY. O_O And they hold such hilarious conversations...
"My mum cooked for me Fried Ham and Egg yesterday!"
"Whoaaaaaaa..." -all friends
"Egg and Ham is very nice you know!"
"Yah, I love Egg and Ham!"
"Egg and Luncheonmeat is also very nice..."
"YESSSSSS WHOAAAAA I LOVE LUNCHEONMEAT AND EGG...." -all friends
Anyway Ya Kun Kaya Toast has really lovely, thick runny eggs. 8)
Tomorrow I shall have to wake up reallllyyyy early. Some performance rehearsal at 8, and hah hah hah we haven't prepared anything!!!
My poor contactlensridden eyes feel tired so it is time to sleep.
